Objectives/Sessions include the following:
· Understanding how to set success goals;
· Understanding why education is important and how to become a scholar;
· Increasing self-awareness;
· Healing from past life traumas;
· Providing students with the necessary life and coping skills to manage past and current life traumas;
· Improving emotional wellness and life outlook;
· Improving student motivation; and
· Ensuring high school graduation.
The purpose of this training program is to help students of all ages learn how to plan their lives, engage in American society in a healthy and positive manner, and prepare for the abundance of life challenges they [PS1] may face both as students and adults.
In this training I offer guidance into critical topics that can define a student’s life and future:
· Understanding the most important factor to school and life success;
· Choosing the best path in life;
· Overcoming setbacks and trauma;
· Improving your listening skills and learning to recognize good advice;
· Understanding healthy and productive relationships;
· Talking for success;
· Improving daily hygiene practices;
· Learning why test-taking skills are still important and how to gain them;
· Studying the steps everyone can take to become a great student;
· Understanding why drug use is destructive and dangerous;
· Building confidence;
· Preventing conflicts and staying out of fights;
· Growing up at an age-appropriate rate;
· Using social media properly;
· Behaving in school;
· Paying attention and following directions;
· Making the most of the summer as a student;
· Developing a winning success mindset;
· Staying self-motivated;
· Identifying toxic family patterns;
· Learning the 21 laws for becoming a high school graduate with a plan; and
· Breaking lazy student habits.
This program will help students mature, develop, and build a healthy, powerful, winning game plan for their lives.
Group topics will include but are not limited to the following:
· Substance abuse;
· Mental and emotional abuse;
· Overcoming negative life challenges;
· Choosing the right friends;
· Depression;
· Being a better student; and
· Planning your academic and financial future.
Presentation Time: 60–90 minutes/session
Room Layout: On campus or via Zoom/virtual training room
